I personally love working from home... although it's not for everyone. You could have the most amazing work space with everything you could ever need, but if you don't have the ambition, focus and drive... your "office" becomes little more than a dust collector, those three things are key to any home office.

I do have one tip... if you put a clock in your office, which every office should have, don't get one that you can hear go "tick, tock, tick, tock" like a battery operated one, I made that mistake and that clock is history... get yourself one you can't hear. One more thing, a saying that my friend and I use all the time, "you can't make money, sitting on your hands!"

I can’t but agree to that. Happy customers will form positive publicity and that in turn is sure to attract new customers. People are most likely to trust the opinion of “their neighbours and colleagues”.

You could not be more correct! There are so many different ways to network - physical networking groups, on-line networking groups, social media - and you should keep your name out there in all of it. Thanks for the reminder.

I've been a Skype convert for some time - thankfully the unpredictability of service from when the service first began, pretty much seems a thing of the past. I have many clients based abroad & we have had all our sessions via Skype for the best part of the last year - absolutely free of charge and great call quality. Highly recommended!

HI Vee,

I have just tried the link in light of your comment and it is live. It took an age for the page to load but it is still live.

Good luck.

It'd be really useful to know the details of the survey. Quoting the source of this survey would give it a little more weight!
